Watermarkit helps people create document copies that clearly communicate who may use them, why, and for how long.
Why it exists
Identity documents are regularly requested for rentals, bookings, employment, insurance, and administration. A plain copy can be reused outside that original context. Watermarkit makes that context a visible part of the copy.
Our approach
The product is intentionally focused: no accounts, document vaults, identity scoring, authenticity claims, or hidden uploads. The current MVP is a private browser tool, not an identity verification service.
Our language
Watermarks help discourage unauthorized reuse. They cannot make an image impossible to alter, and the application never describes an output as fraud-proof, official, or legally binding.
